The challenge

 

We have set ourselves a very ambitious goal to double our business whilst reducing our total environmental impact, this includes not just our operations but the impacts associated with the total lifecycle of our products. Faced with this challenge the laundry team came up with Persil Small & Mighty, which is the first product in the market of its kind that contains three times more concentrated detergent. It has proved to be both an environmental & business winner.
 

Benefits to the environment

 

Concentrating the same number of washes into a bottle one third the size means one third of the packaging, one third the water use and only one third the required transport compared to diluted liquids.
